7zip is yet another compression software of windows users it has better compression rates than a regular compression softwares,it supports ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR and also it has its very own format 7z . 7-Zip provides a compression ratio that is 2-10 % .Although the compression takes a bit longer than usual it is very reliable and the interface looks simple to work on.the other feature includes password protection ,Self-extracting capability and so on.finally this amazing compression software is FREE..
