How to change the Wireless Password in Computer
« on: January 27, 2012, 08:42:34 AM »
This tutorial is on how to change the Wireless security password in a computer. If the password of a connection has been changed in the router, then the computer tries to connect with the old password, thus leading in error during authentication. In some versions of Windows, it does not prompt to enter the new password and simply connects with the old one. By using the Network settings you can modify the settings of the connections in your PC.
Change Wireless Password in PC

Open Control Panel and select View Network status and tasks in Network and Internet.

In the Left Pane select Mange Wireless Networks.

This will display the list of Networks that you have connected to with this PC.
Right click on the Network whose password has been changed and click on Properties

A new Properties window will open. Click on Security Tab in the right side.

Now you can modify the new password settings there.
Click on Apply to save the changes made.
Connect to the network now.
