Facebook now have launched a modified version of their homepage. The updates includes a a combination of Top stories and recent stories in the same wall. The top stories are shaded with a light triangle in the corner to differentiate, the next update is the recent activities of friends are displayed on top of the chat bar. Although this feature came a long time back, it was removed earlier and has now brought back. The chat window is still a mess and needs to be updated. The image and video thumbnail size has been modified.

Larger Thumbnail
Now video and image thumbnails size has been increased and the image height width ratio has been maintained. The size reminds of the thumbnails in Google+, however its quite large and fails to impress, as its more of a distraction.
Real time Activity
The real time activity of friends are now listed on top of the chat bar.
